Winner of the Irish Open this Sunday was amateur Shane Lowery.  Having missed the winning putt on he 18th, he won on the third playoff hole.  Well done to my namesake!!!!

Being an amateur he does not get to collect the 500,000 Euro prize money, but he doesn't look too unhappy about that.
